Matt Runnalls is a passionate mental health advocate dedicated to fostering awareness, acceptance, education, and connection within communities to combat the global stigma surrounding mental health and suicide. Drawing from his own lived experiences and the heartbreaking loss of friends, Matt aims to create open platforms for communication, encouraging individuals and communities to address and manage their wellbeing.

In 2016, fuelled by a rediscovery of hope and kindness, Matt founded Mindfull Aus at just 24 years old. As a full-time advocate, he has delivered over 2,500 speeches, keynotes, workshops, and events across Australia, including 10 tours of the United States. His impactful presence extends to global forums, where he has facilitated for leading mental and behavioural health organisations and conferences.

A perpetual learner, Matt has studied under renowned experts, including Wim Hof, Tony Robbins, Simon Sinek, Dr Brené Brown, Tom Bilyeu, Deepak Chopra, and Kevin Hines. He holds certifications in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Breathwork & Meditation, Sciences of Wellbeing, Introduction to Psychology & Counselling, Emotional Intelligence, and Quantum Learning at California State University.

As a change agent and award-winning international speaker, Matt is also a best-selling author of Nobody Can Save Me. He is one of Australia’s most sought-after voices in mental health and wellness, equipping audiences with practical tools and strategies from world-renowned thought leaders. Matt now spends his life in dedication to the loss of his mates to suicide, combined with the thought that saved his life in 2012—that of having kids one day. This understanding and passion led Matt to become a trained facilitator at the world’s #1 camp for young kids (greensupercamp.com.au) where he works with young champions to improve self-esteem, equip them with accelerated development techniques and a greater understanding of emotional intelligence and relationships.

Matt’s story and message have been featured in books, documentaries, songs, podcasts and films throughout many major media outlets.
